I am alive! (and tagged)

So, I wish I had interesting things to put here regarding my extended absence. Honestly, I just haven't had time for art making in general, much less fan art....but that might be changing next summer. I am quitting my job after this school year and state-hopping off to the mountains to pursue my illustration dreams....yep. I am that crazy hippie person, turns out. I'm alright with it. Thing is, I've got an offer to get published but I don't feel my work is ready as-is, so I need to get to work and get it there. Here's hoping that taking a year off to focus exclusively on art will do the trick. I've been saving up money for 5 years to make this move and now that I'm debt free and have enough to live jobless for at least a year, I think it's time. Wish me luck, all.

Questions from Harseik for me:
What is your favorite form of exercise? Hiking, hands down. You have fun pretending to be an adventurer and oh, by the way, it's good for you too. But that's more of an after-thought to all of the fun you're having.

What section of the human form do you love to draw the most? Huh, odd question. I guess the torso, primarily chest/ribcage area, not so good with attaching heads to said forms, however.

What sound do you love? Hmm...the sounds horses and pianos make, it's a toss up. Dunno which one I like more. Though the sound of a stream/small waterfall nearby when out camping is pretty awesome too.

If you had to change your first name, what would you change it to? Dunno. I go by the pseudonym Dakota sometimes, but I dunno if I really look like a Dakota.

What story does your family always tell about you? Oh geez, where to start. I suppose they like to tell how I'm a super easy target or about stupid things I did as a kid in home videos. Like chatter incessantly to the neighbor boy off-screen and then suddenly stop, look at the camera all confused, and say, "the boy's gone."

How now brown cow? I'm sure there's a funny Anchorman reference response to this, I just don't know it. *lame hat*

What’s the #1 most played song on your music player? Link, plz. Are we talking all time or recently? I don't have a music player because I'm a cheap old fogey, but I would have to say that Superman by Five for Fighting is up there, I listened to it non stop for a week solid in college and still love to hear it come on. Something about those soft opening piano chords always gets me. :3 Either that or Wherever You Will Go by The Calling. 

What would your superpower be? Flight, hands down.

When you have 30 minutes of free-time, how do you pass the time? Haha, free time? What's that? Usually take a nap, to be honest, because if I can find 30 minutes it's usually after work, which I got up at 5 am for, before I have to dash off someplace else until 10pm. But I guess in an ideal world I would say read or draw. *sigh* One day, one day...

What did you do growing up that got you into trouble? I talked a lot in class as a young kid. Grew out of it by 5th grade for the most part when I figured out that people could be mean and judgmental so it was better not to put yourself out there except around good friends.
